Two Independence men robbed a 7-Eleven twice and a QuikTrip in Lee's Summit and later fled authorities in a truck, police say. Billy J. Standley, 21, and William C. Crawford, 33, were charged with three counts of armed robbery and three counts of armed criminal action in the robberies this week.
